Mechanism of Dry Cleaning: This Dry Cleaning process mainly applicable for clothes, textile, fabrics by using chemical solvent other than water. This solvent is toxic Tetrachloroethylene otherwise called as Perchloroethylene. Industrial
people call this solvent as PERC. It is used to clean fabrics, eliminate water hand washing. It also reduces human effort. From this Dry cleaning machines uses non water based solvents (Petroleum based solvents)
to remove soil and stains from cloth.
